On November 17-18, 2022 with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus at VSU named after P.M. Masherov International Scientific and Practical Conference "Traditions and Innovations in Contemporary Art and Art Education (dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the 1st graduation of the Vitebsk National Art School)"
The purpose of the conference: generalization and systematization of the scientific, theoretical and practical experience of Belarusian and foreign scientists in solving topical problems of visual arts and design, the use of innovative technologies in art and pedagogical education; expansion of contacts between educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, near and far abroad.
Forms of participation: full-time, distance.
In the case of the conference in a remote format, the links for participation will be communicated additionally and posted on the conference website

Specialists of educational and artistic institutions, researchers, teachers, postgraduates, doctoral students, as well as students and undergraduates (in collaboration with the supervisor) interested in the development of art and pedagogical education, visual arts and design, history and modernity of the Vitebsk Art School are invited to participate in the conference.
To participate in the conference, you must register by October 23, 2022 at https://conf.vsu.by . When registering you must attach (in the form of an attachment) the application form of the participant and materials of the report. IMPORTANT to duplicate the application and materials to kizo@vsu.by
The organizing committee confirms receipt of materials with a brief letter. If you have not received confirmation within three days, please contact the organizing committee.
The organizing committee reserves the right to select papers for inclusion in the program, and the editorial board has the right to edit the materials included in the collection of the conference. Materials not satisfying the scientific direction of the conference, designed with violations of the requirements and sent later than the deadline, as well as those that have not passed the procedure of checking through the "Antiplagiarism" system will not be accepted for consideration and will not be sent back.
Publication of materials of students and graduate students is possible only in co-authorship with supervisors.
Travel, accommodation and meals for conference participants at the expense of the sending party.
